What To Bring

Suggested List 

Arrow  Food and beverages for the duration of your stay

Arrow  Bed linen - sheets and pillow cases for all beds being used (including roll-aways). Also see "Linen Hire" option below.

Arrow  Bath towels and hand towels (bath mats and tea towels provided)

Arrow  Fishing gear

Arrow  Swimming and snorkelling gear

Arrow  Sports gear including tennis and golf balls, racquets and clubs (small number available to borrow)

Arrow  Insect repellent (tropical strength for ticks)

Arrow  Sunscreen

Arrow  Good torch and matches (remember Currawong is out of the city so it gets dark at night).

Please note - there are no shops, televisions, radios or telephones on Currawong, however you can get mobile phone coverage.

Linen Hire

We offer the option of hiring linen at a cost of $30 per queen/double bed and $20 per single bed.

Towels can be hired at a cost of $5 each.

These rate are a one off charge applicable for the length of your stay.

Fire Wood

Firewood is supplied for the indoor fire in Midholme during the winter months.

For the outside firepits you will be required to collect your own wood.

The Rural Fire Service has stipulated that the outdoor fire pits can not be used from October to March each year (NSW Fire Season). The stone BBQs can be used for cooking purposes only during the fire season, unless a total fire ban has been announced. 

Where to go for food supplies

Palm Beach Cellars is 150m south of Palm Beach Wharf. They provide a great range of gourmet grocery items.

If you need to purchase more substantial supplies, the nearest supermarket is in Avalon, a 10 minute drive south from Palm Beach Wharf.
